YOU GOT QUESTIONS? WE GOT ANSWERS

Cold Process Soaps

What are cold process soaps?

Cold process soaps are handmade, natural soaps made from scratch by mixing oils and lye (sodium hydroxide), allowing it to saponify and harden over time without external heat.

Is your soap safe for sensitive skin?

Yes, our soaps are carefully crafted to be gentle and safe for sensitive skin. However, as with any new skincare product, we recommend doing a patch test to ensure you don't have any reaction or irritation from the essential oils used.

Are your products cruelty free?

No furry-friends were harmed in the making of our products! We're talkin' human testing, with willing human participants (read friends and family).

Are your products vegan?

While most of our soaps are vegan, we do offer two honey-based options - Turmeric Latte and Oatmeal, Milk & Honey which are clearly marked on our website and labels.

Please note that we may introduce milk-based soaps in the future, with clear labelling and description on our website and product packaging.

Are your soaps scented with essential oils or fragrance oils?

Our soaps are scented using essentials oils, fragrance oils that are skin safe (Phthalates and Paraben free) or a combination of both.

Will the scent of the soap linger on my skin after showering?

Our soaps are designed to provide nourishment along with a luxurious aromatherapy experience while you shower. The fragrance may not linger on your skin, but it will promote relaxation and tranquility.

What is the shelf life of your soap?

Depending on the ingredients used, the shelf life of our soaps is upto 1 year. However, since essential oils evaporate and their fragrance tends to fade over time, we recommend you use our soaps within 3 months to enjoy their aromatherapy benefits.

Why does my soap have a different colour or pattern than the photo on the website?

Each bar of our artisanal soap is handcrafted in small batches, making every piece truly one-of-a-kind. The natural saponification process can also lead to slight variations in colour, pattern and texture, which may result in your soap looking slightly different from the photo on our website.

Sometime you may also notice small air pockets or soda ash on the surface of the soap- but rest assured, these superficial variations do not affect the quality, safety or performance of our soap. If anything ,they are a testament to the handmade nature of our products.

Can I request a custom soap scent or design?

Yes, we take custom orders for soaps. However, please note that it takes 4-6 weeks for cold process soaps to cure. Additional time is also required to finalise your custom design, fragrance and other details to your satisfaction to create a truly personalised product. For this please contact us through our email.

Can I use your soaps on my face?

Our soaps are carfully formulated with plant based oils and natural ingredients that are gentle, nourishing and safe for use on the face and body. However, as with any new skincare product, we recommend patch testing on a small area first to ensure compatability with your skin type as natural ingredients may also sometimes cause irritation for some.
